Compassionate care starts with the people behind it

Mindy oversees our clinical team, helping ensure the individuals and families we serve receive quality, compassionate behavioral health care. She also continues to work directly with clients, with experience supporting adults and at-risk adolescents.

Her passion for behavioral health extends beyond the counseling room. Mindy spent seven years teaching psychology as an adjunct professor and is completing her final year toward becoming an LPC Supervisor in South Carolina.

Originally from Georgia, Mindy now calls the Grand Strand home. She and her husband Tim enjoy traveling, weekends at the beach, and time with their three adult children and three fur babies.

With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Zac helps individuals navigate their mental wellness journey through psychiatric evaluations and personalized medication management.

He's a lifelong learner with three master's degrees and speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish, helping us connect with even more members of our community.

When he isn’t caring for clients, you’ll likely find him enjoying live music, reading a good book, watching soccer, or spending time with his wife and three kids.

Shanin is our longest-serving team member. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling and recently advanced from Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) to Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

She works with children, adults, and couples, and has a special passion for working with kids, using activities and creative approaches to help younger clients feel comfortable, engaged, and able to express themselves.

Originally from Darlington, South Carolina, Shanin has called Horry County home for the past two years. Halloween is her absolute favorite!

LeRoy brings nearly 20 years of experience as a therapist and a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to his work with adults, couples, and adolescents.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Pace University and his graduate degree in Social Group Work from Yeshiva University, and holds a certificate in Systems and Family Therapy.

Originally from the Bronx, LeRoy spent 30 years in New Jersey before making the Grand Strand home. He has been married for forty-three years and has four adult children. You might find him walking through Vereen Memorial Gardens or at a classic car show.

Raberta earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Old Westbury and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University.

She works with clients of all ages but especially enjoys working with teens and young adults.

Originally from Amityville, New York, she now calls Horry County home. She is a proud mom of a 2-year-old and a 12-year-old and enjoys walking her furbaby.

Nikki earned her undergraduate degree in Public Health from Coastal Carolina University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor.

Nikki works with both children and adults and is currently accepting new clients.

She has called North Myrtle Beach home since 2005 (and has been visiting since the 1980s) and loves the ocean, nature, and her daughter, who shares her love of animals.

Behind every phone call answered, every appointment scheduled, and every warm welcome is Ashlee. She works hard to ensure every person who contacts Grace feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from their very first interaction.

Originally from Darlington, South Carolina, Ashlee earned a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Studio Art from Coastal Carolina University and is pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

Ashley helps connect Grace with people, organizations, and resources throughout Horry County. She earned a B.S. in Nutrition and Wellness from the University of Southern Indiana and has worked in community wellness since 2014, including with the Lowcountry Food Bank and USC’s Be Well Care Well program.

She loves connecting people, building partnerships, and making sure our community knows about the resources and support available to them. Ashley lives in Little River with her husband and three children.
